Adaptive Care
Enhancing Resident Safety with Adaptive Care Technology
Adaptive Care is at the forefront of acoustic monitoring. Through this partnership, we offer “virtual night shifts”—using sensitive acoustic sensors to alert staff only when a resident actually needs help, improving sleep and reducing falls.
Key Focus:
Acoustic Monitoring: Replace intrusive physical checks with smart, sound-based alerts.
Fall Prevention: Identify movement patterns that indicate a resident is at risk before a fall occurs.
Dignity in Care: Minimise sleep disruption and respect resident privacy during the night.
How long must care homes legally retain resident clinical records?
Under CQC and GDPR guidelines, care providers in the UK must generally retain adult social care records for a minimum of seven years after the date of the last entry or the date of death.
Certain records, such as those related to the Mental Health Act or serious accidents, may require retention for up to 20 or 25 years. Our Enhanced Archiving service ensures you remain fully compliant throughout these periods without needing to maintain your old software licenses.
Can data be extracted from old on-site servers to new cloud systems?
Yes. While many cloud-only vendors struggle with "on-premise" hardware, Care Match UK specializes in legacy server extraction.
We have the technical tools to access and retrieve data from non-cloud, local, or bespoke servers, ensuring that a move to modern software like PCS or Nourish doesn't mean leaving your history behind.
What is "Clinical Mapping" in care home data migration?
Clinical mapping is the process of ensuring that data from your old system (like a risk assessment or care plan) aligns perfectly with the fields in your new system.
Without professional "apples-to-apples" mapping, critical alerts for falls, skin integrity, or nutrition can be lost. We manually and technically map these data points so your clinical continuity is never broken.
Will I lose my wound photos and PDFs during a system switch?
Not with Care Match UK. Standard migrations often only transfer basic text, leaving behind vital visual evidence and uploaded documents.
We treat media recovery as a priority, extracting and archiving all wound photos, scanned hospital letters, and PDF documents to ensure your clinical audit trail is complete for future CQC inspections.
